An Overview of Food Preservation Using Conventional and Modern Methods

This article intends to investigate traditional food preservation methods, as well their methodical thoughtful, and propose scientific solutions based on the facts gained. Food is an action or method for preserving foods at chosen quality level. Several innovative conservation methods are being established meet contemporary needs cost-effective user fulfillment in terms of wellbeing, nutrition, sensory perception. Proper necessary keep goods from spoiling long periods. Preservatives, other hand, must not be toxic humans. There preventing microbial contamination lipid rancidity. Foods also preserved nutritional content, texture, flavor. Traditional techniques such curing, freezing, canning, boiling, pickling, many others briefly discussed this mini-review, modern practices pasteurization, drying, vacuum packing, radiation, biopreservation, hurdle technology, modified atmosphere. Modern has benefited greatly advancements packing materials.
